2GO Group Inc., the country’s leading end-to-end supply chain logistics company and Petrophilippines Co. Inc. (PCI),  recently signed a three (3)-year contract for the supply fuel oil for the former’s roll-on/roll-of (ro-ro) vessels built for freight vehicle transport with passenger accommodation (ropax) in Manila North Harbor and Batangas.  As part of the agreement, PCI has dedicated 2 barges to deliver the fuel oil requirements of 2GO.

No less than Hermie Esguerra, Chairman of Herma Group of companies, and Peter Huang, joined the PCI Team of Butch Agbayani, Ben Ibuyan, Cesar Galang and Ching Selorio in assuring 2GO executives on the capability of PCI to efficiently serve their fuel oil requirement during the management meeting of both companies. 2GO was represented by Lizanne Uychaco, SVP Corporate Services of SM Investment Corporation, Waldo C. Basilla, COO, Will Howell, CFO & Treasurer, Dan Fernan, COO Shipmanagement, Apollo Santos, VP Shipmanagement & Head of Technical Services, Janice Bugarin, AVP Procurement, May Ann Chua, AVP Procurement, and Randy Yu, Fuel Consultant.

During the initial delivery of M/Tkr Danglayan to 2GO’s St. Michael the Archangel vessel at the North Harbor last November 10, 2019, PCI Team was there to provide support and ensure smooth delivery to 2GO’s Operations Group.  2GO has been very satisfied with the services being rendered by PCI Team.

Partners: CEMSI Initiative

An annual program committed to the Region IV-A EMB’s campaign on Adopt-An-Estero Program. With the MEMT, CEMSI calls for a unified cleaning of the Labuyo Creek with the industries located in its upstream and downstream. CEMSI also provides the Local Government with an industrial mapping survey of companies affecting the bodies of water in Barangay Maguyam. The study was conducted by CEMSI interns from the Technological Institute of the Philippines-QC Sanitation Engineering students.

Through the generosity of The Herma Group Chairman and CEO Herminio S Esguerra, CEMSI delivered PPEs for the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) personnel last 23 March. The items were received at the Nurses House in PGH this morning by Ms. Lenydin Manalo, Head, Special Supplies Section and Ms. Jerilee Dagdag, Admin Staff through the cooperation with Ms Adette. CEMSI opens its North Plant in barangay Cutcut II Capas, Tarlac with Capas Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan and Barangay Captain Edwin Macale as guests of honor. Local officials from varied departments of the LGU have attended the event. This is the newest CEMSI plant with an area of 2.9 hectares. With an aim to be a prime mover in waste management solutions, the plant will serve the industries and medical facilities in Central and Northern Luzon.
